There are many weapons and devices that The Great Tiffany has researched, but magic is difficult to wrangle in this world made of technology. Those at M.A.G.I have joined forces to increase the capabilities of magic however they are all goody goods.

I never cared so much how it worked, as to how much I could do with it. It was kind of... Guess you'd call it a religious thing. Like how a priest doesn't think about the particulars of how he's suddenly able to throw lightning at people.

A technological world is fine enough by me, though. I can adapt, I think.

The party line says you're here to save the world. :) Whether or not that's true, only the giant tree god can say, and so far, answers haven't been forthcoming.

In the meantime, it's recommended that you find a nice place to settle down in and eke out a living for yourself. Right now, the popular destinations are Neon City and Axoryi for people looking to live a Civilian Life. There's also Tetha, but that citystate has been headed towards war, so it's not exactly the best place to set up a homestead.

Yggdrasil, Digital World Tree. Wish I could tell you more, but even the big holy sorts of the world aren't all that eager to tell more about that particular topic. Or they just don't know, which wouldn't surprise me. The most powerful gods are typically the ones who don't answer to anyone for anything.

Saving the world's all well and good, I guess, but it doesn't put food on the table, and it isn't exactly a clear course of action.

As for the war in Tetha... Power-mad area leader pretty much wants to wipe out all tamers. His plans have been exposed, and it's only a matter of time until things come to a head.
